Simple recipe yeast free bread is very easy to bake in a short time (including time in the oven). Following the receipe you will have delicious, testy bread on the table for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Are you ready to prepare bread? Let’s jum into the recipe.


Ingredients

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 200 g whole grain flour
  • 50 g cornmeal flour
  • 7 g salt
  • 15 baking powder
  • 20 g brown sugar
  • 200 souroughdough starters (discard)
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 spoons of sesame seeds
  • 25 g of flour for sprinkling the table and countertop
  • 2 spoons of yogurt

Instruction

  1. In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients: wheat flour, whole grain flour, cornmeal, baking powder, brown sugar, salt. Mix the ingredients well.
  2. In another bowl, add all the liquid ingredients: sourdough, milk, egg. Combine the ingredients well.
  3. Once that’s done, add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix the all ingredients well.
  4. Transfer dough to a clean work surface with small quentity of flour on the table.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape two balls from it.
  6. Prepare a tin by lining it with parchment paper.
  7. Transfer the dough ball to the prepared tin.
  8. Score the the top of dough crosswise.
  9. Spread yogurt on the top of the dough, this will create a nice and crispy bread crust.
  10. Sprinkle the top of the dough with sesame seeds.
  11. Bake the dought for 15 minutes at 420ºF and 30 minutes at 400ºF.
  12. Let bread to rest after baking for 45-60 minutes befor cutting.
